From unrestrained joy to wrenching pathos, these songs were conceived out of human suffering and redemption of historic proportions. Many of the settings are a cappella, featuring eight voice parts, containing intricate rhythms. It took months of focused energy to master the mechanics of the music itself so that we could then go deeper and capture the soul of each piece.
