Hosted by Director of Music and Ministries Kathy Bowman, Psalm 95 is an hour of celebration, adoration, and inspiration–all designed to draw the listener closer to our Lord. Psalm 95 began as a weekly radio program in 2002, originally hosted by our founder, C. Harry Causey. The program features recordings of The NCC, the Word of God, and inspirational commentary.
Listeners, many of whom are unable to attend church, say Psalm 95 is a spiritual oasis for them, filled with comfort and worship. Thank you for your expressions of support for this ministry heard by millions, often during times of deep need. We hope you will listen regularly and let us know what the program means to you.
If your local station does not air Psalm 95, please contact us so that we might explore the possibility of adding Psalm 95 to their programming.
May 7 "God's Paving YOUR Way!"
So often in today’s world, it seems like we’re walking into uncharted territory! Times are changing, social mores are not what they used to be and often the path we face seems puzzling at best, and possibly frightening at its worst. The comfort we have is that God knows what lies ahead and will pave the way according to His best plan for us. Be sure to join us as we look at God’s goodness in preparing the way forward for each of us. The Choir will sing Mighty Warrior Medley • A Mighty Fortress • Lord, You’re Holy • He Leadeth Me • Trust in the Lord • Savior, Like a Shepherd Lead Us • The Twenty-Third Psalm • It Is Well With My Soul • In His Presence Medley • Come Follow Me
May 14 "FROM Mom, With Love"
Usually on Mothers’ Day, we see a lot of cards and gifts with the inscription “To Mom, With Love”. Well, we’re going to turn that around in our broadcast called “From Mom, With Love”, as I share some important and Godly life-lessons that I would certainly want each of my children to grasp. You’ll definitely want to join us for this broadcast, and perhaps invite your kids to listen with you! Featured Choir favorites will be The Mind of Christ • He Looked Beyond My Fault • They That Wait Upon the Lord • Bow the Knee • Sweet Hour of Prayer / Take Time To Be Holy • Be Still • Wonderful Peace • Total Praise • My Faith Looks Up to Thee • I Choose to Believe
May 21 "Singers On the Frontlines"
Throughout the world, singing has been used to lull babies to sleep, to inspire patriotism, to improve health, to proclaim the Word of God, to offer praise to God, to celebrate weddings, birthdays and funerals – the list could go on and on, I’m sure. But in this broadcast, we’re going to look at an unusual situation where singing was used as a weapon of warfare on the frontlines of the army. Don’t miss this – it could be VERY valuable to your faith walk! You’ll hear the Choir share Let Everything That Hath Breath • Praise, My Soul, the King of Heaven • Praise Him! • Declare His Glory • Threshold of Glory • Song of Worship • To the King • Praise His Holy Names • How Great Thou Art • Thou Oh Lord (concert version)
May 28 "Day of Honor"
As we celebrate this coming Memorial Day weekend, we remember and honor those who have lost their lives while serving in our military and defending the God-given freedoms we’re privileged to enjoy. And I can think of no better way to do that than to have the Choir share songs that celebrate not only our great nation, but our great God, whose grace influenced our Founding Fathers to form one nation under God with liberty and justice for all. You will NOT want to miss this! The Choir will sing God Bless America • The Lord’s Prayer • The Star Spangled Banner • The Testament of Freedom, I and II • Blessed is the Nation • My Country ‘tis of Thee / Statue of Liberty • Battle Hymn of the Republic • If My People with Heal Our Land • O God, Our Help in Ages Past • Let There Be Peace On Earth
