What Is Psalm 95?
Hosted by Director of Music and Ministries Kathy Bowman, Psalm 95 is an hour of celebration, adoration, and inspiration–all designed to draw the listener closer to our Lord. Psalm 95 began as a weekly radio program in 2002, originally hosted by our founder, C. Harry Causey. The program features recordings of The NCC, the Word of God, and inspirational commentary.
Listeners, many of whom are unable to attend church, say Psalm 95 is a spiritual oasis for them, filled with comfort and worship. Thank you for your expressions of support for this ministry heard by millions, often during times of deep need. We hope you will listen regularly and let us know what the program means to you.

December, 2024
December 1 “A Season of Hope”
This week, on the first Sunday of Advent, we celebrate A Season of Hope. For centuries God’s people waited for the Messiah – hoping theirs might be the generation to see His arrival. They hoped in God’s word and held on to His promise. In the same way today, we wait -- we look forward to the day when Christ will come again and hope our generation might see His return! So be sure to tune in for “A Season of Hope”! The Choir will sing God With Us · I Have Seen the Light · You Are the Light · Holy Is His Name · Mary, Did You Know? · Christ is Born · Midnight Cry · Triumphantly the Church Will Rise · No More Night · They That Wait Upon the Lord
December 8 “A Season of Love”
This week marks the 2nd Sunday of Advent and as such, we’re going to be celebrating the Christian virtue of LOVE. Depending on what church you attend or what Advent calendar you use, you may find different virtues extolled when lighting the 2nd Advent candle. Some herald FAITH on the 2nd Sunday – others light the candle in honor of Bethlehem. But for our program this week, we’re going to celebrate “A Season of Love”. Be sure to join us and hear the Choir sing Thou Didst Leave Thy Throne · So Pure So Simple · God So Loved the World · Away In a Manger · O Little Town of Bethlehem · Infant Holy, Infant Lowly · Jesus Loves Me · The Jesus Gift · Sing We Now of Christmas · Twelve Days of Christmas Praise · The Little Drummer Boy
December 15 “A Season of Joy”
On the upcoming third Sunday of Advent, our theme will be JOY! And since Scripture tells us that the “joy of the Lord is our strength”, we should come away from this week’s broadcast feeling strengthened and uplifted as we listen to the wonderful Christmas songs that speak about JOY. The angels proclaimed it and the shepherds went around telling everyone the good news. And now, it’s our turn to celebrate this “Season of Joy” as the Choir sings Joy to the World (in 3 variations) · The Carolin’ Reel · Angel’s Carol · How Great Our Joy · Rise Up Shepherds · Good News Medley · That Little Baby · Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee · Good Christian Men, Rejoice · It Came Upon a Midnight Clear · Gloria · Christmas Angels
December 22 “A Season of Peace”
On the 4th Sunday of Advent, we will celebrate “A Season of Peace”. But as we look at the world around us, we wonder if we can even talk about peace, much less experience it! Isaiah prophesied that Jesus would be the Prince of Peace and in Matthew’s gospel, Jesus called peacemakers blessed! So be sure to tune in as we focus on “A Season of Peace” in the midst of a chaotic world! The Choir will share Great Is Thy Faithfulness · Blessed Assurance · Rest · I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day · Peace, Peace · All Is Well · Wonderful Peace · Let There Be Peace · Born In Me · Silent Night · Where the Spirit of the Lord Is
