“Without faith it is impossible to please God. For anyone who approaches Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6)

This album — “Believe”– came about after hearing the song “We Believe” performed on YouTube by the choirs and orchestra of Lee University. The song so beautifully and powerfully proclaims the tenets of our faith — what we believe based on the Word of God. We believe as Psalm 34:18 says: “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” — a theme echoed in “Defender”, “Draw Me Close to You w/ Power of Your Love” and “The Lord of Hosts Is with Us”. We believe the words of 2nd Samuel 22:4: “I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies”. Thus, we sing “Shout To the Lord”, “With Thanks We Bless Your Name” and “Great and Exalted Medley”. The hymn “My Redeemer Lives” quotes Job 19:25: “I know that my Redeemer lives, and at the last He will stand upon the earth.” Mark 9:23 says “All things are possible for one who believes” and inspires the song “Believe for It” Finally, we believe John 14:1-3: “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me . . . I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also” and so we sing “We Believe”, “Sign Me Up”, and “E’en So Lord Jesus Quickly Come”. We pray these songs will inspire you as we exalt our Lord Jesus Christ in song.
